1. Eligibility & Account Security

By registering an account or downloading the application, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum legal age required in your country to consent to digital services).
• All registration credentials provided via Google Sign-In or Apple ID are accurate and current.
• You maintain sole responsibility for preserving the confidentiality of your login sessions and credentials.

2. Acceptable Use & Academic Integrity

NotesFlow AI is designed as a study enhancement and active recall companion. You agree not to:

• Upload confidential examination papers, stolen institutional assessments, or materials violating copyright law.
• Use automated AI summarization or chat to violate your academic institution's code of conduct or examination rules.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract backend prompts, APIs, or proprietary parsing algorithms.
• Abuse AI request generation thresholds via automated bots or malicious scripts.

3. User Content & Intellectual Property

Ownership: You retain complete intellectual property ownership over all uploaded PDFs, slide photos, study notes, and personal annotations ("User Content").

Limited License: You grant NotesFlow AI a worldwide, royalty-free, limited license strictly necessary to store, parse, index, summarize, and deliver active recall assets back to your device and authorized study group collaborators.

4. Subscriptions, In-App Billing & Cancellation

NotesFlow AI offers optional Pro/Premium subscriptions that unlock unlimited AI document processing, advanced quiz configurations, and priority LLM inference:

• Billing Management: Subscriptions purchased via Apple App Store or Google Play Store are managed directly under your respective platform account settings.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to renewal.
• Refund Policy: Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple App Store or Google Play Store payment terms and conditions.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The Service and all AI-generated summaries, flashcards, and test answers are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While our neural pipeline achieves high OCR and synthesis accuracy, we do not warrant that all AI outputs will be 100% error-free for academic grading purposes.

In no event shall NotesFlow AI be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from academic assessment performance or service interruptions.

6. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal action or dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India.
